Celebrating 10 Years!

Where We Started

We are a twin sisters Jessica & Victoria Richards (although Jess is now married so she technically isn’t a Richards anymore but always will be at heart!) Anyway-we started off way back in a small shed in our Nan's garden with help from our Mom (thanks you pair!) We created gorgeous designs for competitions from our little shed, which quickly grew into a large studio after being asked to create wedding flowers through word of mouth. Obviously like most girls we outgrown our studio too needing more space to create more floral loveliness-then Richards Floral Design Was born-Broad Lane-March 2014.

Competitions & Worldwide Demonstrating

Along the way we have won many competitions and gained many accolades, training florists & floral arrangers throughout our career, although not so much now our shop as got so busy.

We are proud to be a totally independent business solely run by our team and to be recognised as one of the best independent shops pushing forward in the Wire Awards.

We’ve represented Floristry Regionally, Nationally & Globally representing the UK in Worldskills which Victoria came 5th overall in the World! (Yep-It was super nerve racking!) Winning a Medallion Of Excellence

3X RHS Chelsea Gold Medal Winning Florists

We are really proud to have achieved 3 prestigius RHS Chelsea Gold Medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, narrowly missing out on best in show by Half a point (YEP! HALF A TINY LITTLE POINT!)

We have been recognised for our work by many companies who work with us on a weekly basis to create designs for them, our most impressive is Wolverhampton Wanderers FC who we have been working with for the last 7 years.

You’ve watched us grow from two young girls on a floristry mission to bring design and technique to customers whilst being using sustainable suppliers and growers.

Our Eco Range Mission

8 years ago we launched our ECO Range designs and boy haven’t we made a difference together with your help! Our range is becoming bigger and better with all hand tied bouquets now have our Eco friendly range option when purchasing. We are working on bringing you more Eco Friendly flowers and Eco Friendly Funeral Flowers.
