As we joyfully celebrate a decade of our floral journey, we're thrilled to share our story with you - a tale of passion, triumphs, and the unbreakable bond of family.

Picture this: it's 2014, and against the backdrop of the enchanting Bantock Park, our dream took root. Founded by twin sisters Jessica and Victoria, our little flower shop blossomed into a haven of creativity and craftsmanship connecting people to each other through the love of flowers. From the very beginning, we poured our hearts into every arrangement, to connecting and bring love to those sending and receiving flowers.

Our journey has been a whirlwind of emotions, adorned with accolades and triumphs that make our hearts swell with pride. From competing and winning Gold Medals at UKSkills to representing the UK on the global stage at WorldSkills 2011, winning Medallion Of Excellence, our passion for floristry has taken us places we never dared to dream.

Our designs have won us three RHS Chelsea Gold Medals- our creations gave us the thrill of coming so close to 'Best in Show' in 2012 and 2013 narrowly missing out by half a point- moments that will forever be etched in our hearts.

On international Woman’s day back in 2014, we opened our doors to you, our beloved community, facing the beauty of Bantock Park. Little did we know the challenges we'd face along the way - from navigating what seemed endless road closures to weathering the storm of a global pandemic, which you guys helped us adapt into a click and collect style shop, navigated online sales and brought us closer to you at the most challenging time. We were here for you all and the love you shown us proved to us that we were right in calling you the best customers and friends a flower shop could wish for. Through it all, your unwavering support has been our guiding light, reminding us of the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.

As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we can't help but reflect on the personal milestones woven into our journey. Jessica, embracing the joys of motherhood, has welcomed a daughter whose laughter fills our shop with warmth and promise, her love for flowers and plants brings us hope that one day she may follow in her mums footsteps.

We wouldn’t be a decade old this year without the love and support of our employees and family. they have supported us throughout the years and we most certainly wouldn’t be here without their love and support.

So, dear friends, as we raise our glasses to toast a decade of Richard's Floral Design, we want to express our deepest gratitude. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives, for trusting us with your most precious moments, and for embracing the beauty of flowers with open arms. But most of all your continued support and love for what we do.
